RV University Hosts 4th Convocation; 918 Students Graduate with a Call for Social Responsibility BENGALURU, August 28, 2026

RV University celebrated its 4th Convocation ceremony in a grand event, conferring degrees upon 918 undergraduate and postgraduate students, including two Ph.D. scholars. The university also honored 42 students with rank certificates for their outstanding academic achievements across various departments.

Addressing the graduates as the Chief Guest, Mr. Ritesh Kumar Singh (IAS), Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Karnataka, highlighted the importance of mentorship, collaboration, and a spirit of social service. "In today’s fast-paced world, young graduates must develop the skills to adapt to rapidly changing scenarios. You must step forward to face future opportunities and uncertainties with the highest sense of responsibility," he urged.

Dr. (Hon.) A.V.S. Murthy, Chancellor of RV University, reminded the students of their broader duties. "The degree you have received today is not merely a mark sheet; it is a symbol of your great responsibility to give back to your family, society, country, and the world. Soar as high as your ambitions take you, but never forget where and why you began this journey," he advised. Highlighting the institution's educational philosophy, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ram Kumar Kakani stated, "Though our twelve distinct schools shape students differently, they all lay a common foundation. The transformation of sharp curiosity into capability, coupled with a strong conscience, is the unique strength of every RV student."

The ceremony concluded with the graduates formally taking the graduation oath, embarking on a new journey as university alumni while reflecting on the institution's motto, "Go forth, change the world." Simultaneously, the event marked the official launch of 'Navodaya', the induction program for incoming first-year students enrolled in the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and B.Sc in Allied and Healthcare Professionals courses.
