The month-long festive sale will feature major discounts, new product launches, festive offers and expanded delivery options for customers across India.
Customers using SBI Credit and Debit Cards, as well as eligible SBI EMI transactions, will be able to avail themselves of an instant 10% discount during the sale.
Amazon Prime members will receive additional savings of up to 10% along with early access to selected deals and festive programming available through Prime Video.
The Great Indian Festival will feature offers across a wide range of categories, including smartphones, consumer electronics, televisions, fashion and beauty products, home and kitchen appliances and everyday essentials.
Customers will also have access to several value-focused shopping options, including No Cost EMI, exchange offers, “Buy More, Save More”, “Exchange Mela”, “Sample Mania” and special Amazon Combos.
Amazon is also using AI-powered features within its app to assist shoppers with product comparisons, price-history analysis and personalised recommendations while they browse and make purchasing decisions.
To manage increased demand during the festive period, Amazon has further expanded its delivery and logistics infrastructure across the country.
Its ultra-fast delivery service, Amazon Now, is set to expand to 100 cities before Diwali. The service, which currently operates across more than 60 metro and non-metro cities, offers delivery within minutes for groceries and everyday essentials.
Amazon has also created more than 1.6 lakh seasonal jobs across 400 cities to support operations during the festive season.
As part of its logistics expansion, the company has added 20 new fulfilment centres, six sortation centres and 150 last-mile delivery hubs. The network currently supports more than two million sellers across India.
Speaking about the launch, Saurabh Srivastava, Vice President at Amazon India, said the Great Indian Festival brings customers, sellers and brands together as part of the country’s festive celebrations. He added that shoppers can expect competitive prices, major deals and new product launches with delivery options ranging from minutes and hours to within a day.
