The Karnataka Cabinet approved a comprehensive infrastructure roadmap worth Rs 48,000 crore for expanding Bengaluru city connectivity to satellite towns including Devanahalli, Tumkur and Hosur road corridors.
The plan includes 3 new metro extensions, a dedicated suburban rail ring and elevated expressways connecting tech parks to the airport. Deputy CM DK Shivakumar said the project will transform mobility for 15 million Bengaluru residents by 2028.
