Hingoli Principal Allegedly Drinks, Sleeps In Classroom, Dipke Demands Suspension – VIDEO

Cockroach Janta Party leader Abhijeet Dipke on Sunday demanded the suspension of a government school principal in Maharashtra’s Hingoli district, after a video purportedly showed the principal appearing to be drunk and sleeping inside a classroom.

Villagers in Limbala village have alleged that the principal consumes alcohol on the school premises and have demanded immediate action against him. The allegations could not be independently verified.

Abhijeet Dipke said villagers have repeatedly complained to senior authorities about the principal’s alleged conduct but claimed that no effective action has been taken so far.

CJP leader also shared a video purportedly showing a man identified as the school principal inside a classroom. In the footage, the man appears to collect liquor bottles when confronted before leaving the room.

Visuals shared with the allegations also purportedly show the principal with liquor bottles and appearing to sleep inside the classroom. BharathINN could not independently verify the contents of the video or the circumstances in which it was recorded.

Sharing the video on X, Dipke raised serious concerns regarding the safety of students, he wrote, " Visuals of the principal with liquor and sleeping in the classroom after getting drunk. The principal must be suspended immediately! How can a drunk principal run a govt school? This is a serious safety concern for the children, especially little girls."

Earlier, in his August 15 post, Dipke said he would join villagers in a protest if the principal was not removed by Tuesday. He also urged senior authorities to take immediate action.

The allegations are not independently confirmed, and it is not clear whether any departmental inquiry has been initiated against the principal. Apart from the allegations against the principal, Dipke claimed that the school is also facing a shortage of teachers, with only two teachers reportedly managing five classrooms.

The claims regarding the staff shortage and the principal’s alleged conduct could not be independently verified. No response from the school principal or education authorities was available at the time of publication.
