Actor Ashwin Mushran has reportedly been involved in a road accident in Goa, with allegations that his vehicle hit a father-son duo while allegedly travelling on the wrong side of the road. The incident is said to have taken place around 12:30 pm in Kusman, Quepem, Margao. According to reports, the father sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital. A video recorded after the collision has also surfaced online, reportedly showing Mushran and his wife arguing with people gathered at the spot.
Ashwin Mushran Involved In Goa Road Accident
According to a News18 report, Mushran's vehicle collided with a two-wheeler carrying a father and his son. Allegations made following the accident claim that the actor was driving on the wrong side of the road when the collision occurred. The father reportedly suffered serious injuries in the accident and is currently receiving medical treatment. Details about the son's condition have not been independently confirmed.
A video from the aftermath of the incident has also surfaced online. In the footage, Mushran and his wife can be seen involved in an argument with people who had gathered at the location following the collision. According to the allegations, Mushran and his wife blamed the biker after the accident, which led to a confrontation with locals.
Ashwin Mushran apologised after accident, claims local leader
Local leader Amol Kanekar was reportedly among those who questioned the couple about their conduct at the scene. Speaking to In Goa 24×7, Kanekar spoke about the condition of the injured biker and made further allegations regarding the impact of the collision. Kanekar claimed that the biker had suffered serious injuries and alleged that a fragment of the victim's bone was found lodged in the top-right tyre fender of Mushran's vehicle.
He also alleged that locals subsequently stopped Mushran's car and refused to hand it back until the actor returned to the spot and apologised. According to Kanekar's account, Mushran returned after some time and offered an apology. However, the local leader claimed that he considered the actor's demeanour during the apology to be casual and lacking sincerity. The police version of the accident is still awaited and Mushran has also not publicly addressed the allegations so far.
The incident has consequently attracted attention because of the actor's involvement in several well-known Hindi films and television projects over the years. He appeared in the 2006 comedy Lage Raho Munna Bhai, which starred Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi and Vidya Balan. Mushran subsequently featured in several mainstream Bollywood productions. He was part of Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion, starring Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Mugdha Godse.
Mushran has also appeared in Desi Boyz, alongside Akshay Kumar, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, and in Main Tera Hero, which featured Varun Dhawan, Ileana D'Cruz and Nargis Fakhri. He was last seen in 2026 film Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos starring Vir Das.
