Deepika Singh’s Sister Anamika Reveals How She Escaped After Being Threatened By Financer – EXCLUSIVE

Mangal Lakshmi star Deepika Singh’s sister Anamika Singh is currently seen in Zamana Badal Gaya Season 2 on DD National. The actress is reprising Urvashi Dholakia’s role in the new season. She had an exclusive interaction with Zoom/Telly Talk India, in which she opened up about facing a casting couch incident in the past. Anamika confessed that she was threatened by a financer of a movie when she refused to agree to his demands. She also revealed how she escaped the incident. Anamika also mentioned that she is from Delhi and she knows how to deal with such people.

Anamika Singh On Casting Couch

During a candid chat with us, Anamika Singh confessed that she has faced casting couch in the past. The actress said, “Yes, I have faced casting couch. I don't tell anyone that I am Deepika Singh's sister. I believe my work will speak for myself. Many people told me that things will work in my favour if I compromise. But I never fell for such things. I am very smart. I am from Delhi. I easily understand the intentions of people. In Delhi, we have seen such things since childhood. So, we usually understand such things naturally. People who give such offers are cowards. They never give you work. Your hard work will only help you succeed in life. The genuine people never do rubbish things.”

Anamika Singh stated that she has handled everything by herself. She said, “I am so proud that I never got trapped in casting-couch-like situations. In fact, I have hit them back. Mujhse panga lene se log bachte hi hai.”

Anamika Singh On Being Threatened By Financer

Anamika Singh recalled one incident when a financer of a movie threatened her after she refused to accept his demands. She said, “There was a financer who did a lot of drama. I had already done a movie. Senior actors and real production houses never do drama when it comes to clearing your dues. That financier had told me that he has 40 movies. He told me that he will give me a bungalow and you will have to do some things. I understood his intentions and slammed him.”

“He threatened me and said, 'Mera hawale ka kaam hai.' I warned him back. Eventually, he let me go. Your brain is your biggest weapon. So, use that brain,” Anamika concluded.
