'Attack Us, We'll Fight Harder': Dipke On Alleged Killing Of CJP Volunteer's Father In Bengal

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has claimed that a party volunteer has lost his father, allegedly after being targeted for speaking up about the poor condition of a government school in West Bengal.

According to reports, CJP volunteer Shaik Abdul Hafeez (25) had taken part in the "School Thik Karo" campaign, under which citizens visit government schools to check their condition and flag problems. On August 13, Hafeez inspected a government school in his village in the Karisunda area of Bankura district. According to Dipke, later that evening, goons, who he claims are likely associated with the BJP, allegedly forced their way into the family's home. Hafeez's father, Janab Mafik, suffered severe head injuries in the assault and died on Saturday, according to reports.

Dipke reacted strongly to the incident, saying the CJP "stands firmly with Abdul and his family" and demanding the "immediate arrest of those responsible for his father's death." He confirmed that a CJP team would travel to West Bengal to help the family seek justice.

Dipke also had a sharp message for those behind the attack, saying the party would not be silenced or intimidated by violence, threats, or attacks on its members, and that CJP would only "fight harder" and keep pushing for better schools.

CJP Spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka also took to social media over the matter. He called out the alleged BJP goons, saying that the CJP only wants to fix schools while the BJP was allegedly resorting to violence. He affirmed that he, alongside a CJP delegation, would be travelling to Bankura. He also declared, "we are not afraid of the BJP goons."

The incident comes amid CJP's ongoing "School Thik Karo" campaign, which he launched to put a spotlight on poor infrastructure in government schools across India. As part of the campaign, the CJP encourages citizens to visit local government schools, assess their condition and publicly report shortcomings to pressure authorities into action.
