Amazon Now Crosses $1 Billion in Annualized Sales in India

BENGALURU, SEPT 15 — Amazon today announced that its ultra-fast delivery service, Amazon Now, has crossed $1 billion in annualized gross sales in India over the last three months. Since its launch, orders on Amazon Now have doubled every quarter, making it the fastest-growing e-commerce business unit in Amazon India’s history.

Ahead of the festive season, the company expanded Amazon Now by 4x across India in less than 10 weeks, bringing minute-delivery to over 60 cities and towns. Beyond major metro hubs, the service is now available in Tier-II and Tier-III locations such as Padubidri, Tirupati, Guntur, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Vellore, Dharwad, Warangal, and Berhampur. The service is backed by a specialized network of over 750 micro-fulfillment and urban fulfillment centers.

Speaking on the milestone, Sameer Kumar, Country Manager, Amazon India, said: "In a very short period, Amazon Now has crossed $1 billion in annualized gross sales in India, making it the fastest-growing e-commerce business unit in Amazon India's history. With orders doubling every quarter, we are humbled by this customer response. We are on track to expand to 100 cities by Diwali, bringing minute-delivery from Gurdaspur and Hoshiarpur in the North to Vembayam and Alankode in the South. Customers across the country can look forward to the widest selection delivered at ultra-fast speeds this festive season."

Earlier in June 2026, Amazon announced plans to build India’s largest 'delivery-in-minutes' network by expanding Amazon Now to over 300 cities nationwide. The platform offers a wide range of everyday essentials—including groceries, fresh produce, frozen food, personal care, fashion, beauty, small appliances, and home & kitchen products—delivered within minutes.

Overall, Amazon.in provides access to thousands of products delivered in minutes or hours, over 1 million products available for same-day delivery, 4 million for next-day delivery, and millions more with unlimited free Prime delivery.
